Crisis Management SimulatorTo monitor the dynamics of the environment, various institutions have a large number of sensors placed in the environment, measuring water and air temperature, flow rate of the rivers and the level of the river banks, the contamination levels with pollutants, etc. This results in a huge amount of data that requires specialized tools for particular measurements to read, analyse, and feed into simulation systems.
The project aims towards an integration core of simulating systems which would enable a unified means for accessing data arriving from multiple modalities, and help develop complex simulations. We plan to provide a common repository to contain the data being measured throughout the country. We will cleanse, aggregate and semantically annotate the data, thus providing a common access point and format for obtaining the data. In order to provide a higher level of the data availability and integrity, we will also provide a distributed data storage, while the accessibility will remain transparent to the clients.
