Matija Cankar

was born in 1983 and received his B.Sc. Degree in 2008 from Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana with thesis "Machine learning for the toxic classification of substances from the data of their chemical structure". Now he is working mainly on distributed algorithms.

Junior research programme - generation 2008

In the Junior Researcher programme of the Ministry of Higher Eduaction, Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, he has received funding for post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science.

Operation part financed (192.643,16 EUR) by the european Union and Ministry of Higher Eduaction, Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia.
