Getting there

By plane

From the Ljubljana Airport at Brnik, take the motorway in the direction of Ljubljana
Drive through the tunel, direction Koper,
Exit the motorway on Ljubljana - Brdo,
Go straight on "Pot za Brdom" street to the Technology Park, to the building named G.

Airlines flying to Ljubljana include, among others,easyJet, Wizzair and Adria Airways.

By car

From the direction of Graz
- Take the motorway in the direction of Maribor
- In Maribor, turn on the motorway in the direction of Ljubljana
- Once you reach the Ljubljana motorway belt, drive in the direction of Ljubljana - Sever, direction Koper
- Exit the motorway on Ljubljana - Brdo,
- Go straight on "Pot za Brdom" street to the Technology Park, to the building named G.
From the direction of Klagenfurt
- After exiting the Karavanke tunnel, turn on the motorway towards Jesenice, Kranj, Ljubljana
- Take the motorway till you reach Ljubljana
- Drive through the tunel, direction Koper,
- Exit the motorway on Ljubljana - Brdo,
- Go straight on "Pot za Brdom" street to the Technology Park, to the building named G.
From the direction of Zagreb
- Take the motorway in the direction of Ljubljana
- Once you reach the Ljubljana motorway belt, drive in the direction of Ljubljana - Sever, direction Koper
- Exit the motorway on Ljubljana - Brdo,
- Go straight on "Pot za Brdom" street to the Technology Park, to the building named G.
From the direction of Trieste
- Take the motorway in the direction of Ljubljana
- Once you reach the Ljubljana motorway belt, drive in the direction of Ljubljana - Sever,
- Exit the motorway on Ljubljana - Brdo,
- Go straight on "Pot za Brdom" street to the Technology Park, to the building named G.

Upper range

Best Western Premier Hotel Slon (location)

Getting to XLAB (also see map):

When you leave Hotel Slon, go left (to the south), take the Slovenska road. At the big intersection after about 700 m continue straight ahead (crossing the Aškerčeva/Zoisova cesta), then turn right onto Mirje at the next (smaller) intersection. The road passes by an old Roman city wall, then turns slightly left and changes the name to Jamova. Continue straight for about 600 m, passing a park on the left side. Continue straight at the intersection right after the park, then turn left at the next one; this is the drive-in for XLAB and many other companies. There is a parking lot in front of the building. Xlab has its premises on the 4th floor, room 412.

Alternatively, take bus No. 1 or 6 from the west side of the Slovenska cesta to the Hajdrihova bus stop. Cross the Tržaška cesta, walk through the park and continue straight through the parking lot between the large buildings to Jamova cesta (about 200 m from bus stop). Turn left onto Jamova, then almost immediately right to XLAB.

Grand Hotel Union (location)

Getting to XLAB: turn right (south) on Miklošičeva cesta. Turn right onto Nazorjeva at the first intersection; enter the pedestrian zone. Follow Nazorjeva to the end (about 100 m) to Slovenska cesta, then follow the instructions for Hotel Slon.

Mid-range

Hotel Lev (location)

Getting to XLAB: follow the Gosposvetska cesta to south-east. After about 200 m turn diagonally right to Slovenska cesta, then follow the instructions for Hotel Slon.

Alternatively, take bus No. 1 on the south side of Gosposvetska
cesta, then follow the bus part of the instructions for Hotel Slon.

The following hotels are located a bit outside center, so a car or public transport is needed to get to XLAB.

Hotel Domina Grand Media (location)

Getting to XLAB by car: take the Slovenska cesta towards the city center (to the south). Drive straight to the center (about 5 km), then follow the instructions for Hotel Slon.

Alternatively, take bus No. 6 on the west side of Slovenska cesta, then follow the bus part of the instructions for Hotel Slon.

Hotel Mons (location)

Getting to XLAB by car: enter the motorway ("ring") in the direction Koper/Italy, then follow the instructions by car from direction Klagenfurt.

Budget

These are also not in walking distance from XLAB.

M Hotel (location)

Getting to XLAB by car: take the Celovška cesta towards the city center (to the southeast). After you go through a big railway underpass, go straight on the next intersection to reach Gosposvetska cesta, then follow the instructions for Hotel Lev.

Alternatively, take bus No. 1 on the southwest side of Celovška cesta, then follow the bus part of the instructions for Hotel Slon.
